Hanley Foundation recognizes that each person’s recovery journey is unique, and our commitment to individualized care is what sets us apart. Your generous donation will provide first responders, veterans, and active-duty military personnel with world-class care and specialized facilities where individuals will experience innovative treatment and recovery services.
”I'd like to thank Hanley for the Hope Award, and I want to share that hope with our local heroes. To be a first responder or a combat veteran is not possible for most of us, but we can offer them a private place to find healing and recover from the combination of PTSD and addiction. Their needs in a recovery facility are different from those of the average person struggling with a substance use disorder. Please join me in honoring their service by building a hero unit on the Hanley campus. This is the most important project in Palm Beach County, and together, we can achieve it in no time flat.

Campaign for Recovery: Revolutionizing Recovery for Heroes
Hanley offers a residential and outpatient treatment program for first responders, veterans, and active-duty military who are experiencing substance use and/or mental health disorders.
What Sets Hanley’s Patriots Program Apart?
- Hanley’s treatment program is one of the few nationally that utilizes trauma focused processing modalities while treating co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions, functional status, and substance use disorders for active-duty military, veterans, and first responders in a peer supported environment.
- From clinicians to program director, Hanley’s highly trained treatment team is certified to meet the unique cultural needs of veterans and first responders with many of our staff having first-hand lived experience.
- Our 12-Step immersion-based program provides targeted, trauma-informed care to individuals who are dealing with a substance use disorder and mental health issues stemming from occupation-specific traumatic-stress exposure and traumatic-stress exposure across the lifespan, including acute suicidality.
- Through a new partnership with GIA Healthcare, patients can access on-site transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy. TMS is a non-invasive and FDA-approved therapy that uses gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain. Several studies and meta-analyses have demonstrated that TMS can significantly reduce PTSD symptoms.
- Set on 14 acres of botanical gardens in sunny Palm Beach County, Hanley’s program facilitates exposure to natural environments and their positive impacts on health.
