Project COPE is a support group for families of individuals using opioids that offers a compassionate space where loved ones can find solace, understanding, and practical guidance.
Navigating the complexities of having a loved one using opioids can feel overwhelming. Our support group provides a safe space where families or friends can come together to share experiences, find comfort, and gain valuable insights on supporting their loved ones.
We are committed to offering compassion, understanding, and practical guidance to families affected by opioid use. Through shared stories and expert-led sessions, we aim to empower each other with knowledge and strategies for effective support and self-care.

The Power of Shared Experiences
In the words of those who have walked this path before you:
- “COPE is a meeting where I have learned to do just that – COPE. It is through this program that I was able to network and reach out to get help for my son. I was able to pass on what I have learned to help others. COPE is a place where we can go and not be ashamed, embarrassed or judged. We can all learn about the disease of addiction and how not to let it ruin our lives.” – Linda
- “Other programs, especially 12-step ones, were not enough for me. I needed emotional acceptance, not just intellectual understanding. And I got it! Several speakers at COPE shared beneficial ways to cope emotionally with my four addicted children. I learned how to establish and maintain boundaries. I discovered a new peace and slowly got my life back. Hurrah!” – Phillip
- “COPE offers assistance in many ways, but I have been helped immensely by the many great speakers who attend. They shared their expertise on the illness of addiction, ways for those affected to cope with everyday life and major life changes. The more people who know about this program, the more who can be helped.” – Deborah
