Does your child have a best friend?  It is important for our children to be able to cultivate lasting friendships.  So this means conversations early and often about what makes a friend and how to be a friend.

It is important to share the characteristics and qualities of friends and explain what that means and looks like.  Things like respect, encouragement, loyalty and caring.

It’s also important to walk them through what do when disagreements happen.  It’s never too early to begin those conversations…  What do you look for in a friend? Join the conversation on our Facebook page. #MomSays
