Jonathan A. Segal and Kevin E. Vance, Duane Morris attorneys and employment law public speakers, will focus their presentation on alcohol, medical marijuana and opiates in the workplace. The event is sponsored by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce and the Duane Morris Institute.
“Hanley Foundation is pleased to host ‘When Lawful Drugs Come to Work’ given by highly-experienced employment counsel Jonathan A. Segal and Kevin E. Vance,” said Jan Cairnes, executive director for Hanley Foundation. “This thought-provoking presentation will tackle those hard-hitting questions employers face every day, including ‘If and when should employers ask employees if they are using prescribed opiates?’ Or, ‘Now that medical marijuana is lawful in Florida, what obligations does a Florida employer have, if any, to accommodate its use by employees?’ We hope you will join us on October 26 to hear the answers.”
