Hanley Foundation is offering a FREE Alcohol Literacy Challenge Overview. The Alcohol Literacy Challenge™ (ALC) is an IOM Model “Universal” underage and binge drinking prevention program for middle and high school youth. The program is designed to alter alcohol expectancies and reduce the quantity and frequency of alcohol among middle and high school students. During a one-time ALC lesson, students learn about alcohol expectancies, brain science, standard drink sizes, social media influence, and marketing strategies by alcohol companies. This overview presentation is for teachers, administrators, or community members interested in learning more about our (ALC) program. The overview is one session and will be held on Friday, June 19th. The class will be held via Zoom from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. If you are interested in learning more about the ALC or if you have any questions please feel free to contact LaQueda Lewis at LaQueda@HanleyFoundation.org.
